Where It Started
Built from a need for better waterproof gear.
SKÖ began with a simple problem.
Our family spent a lot of time hiking, canyoneering, traveling, and around the water, but the gear we relied on never quite did everything we needed it to do.
We wanted gear that could keep our belongings protected from the elements without sacrificing comfort, organization, or the ability to actually use it every day.
So we started building it ourselves.
What started as a solution for our own adventures became gear built for wherever yours take you.
Our Evolution
Amphipak SKÖ
The name changed.
The purpose grew.
We started as Amphipak, focused on creating waterproof packs for adventures in and around the water.
But as our products evolved, so did our vision. We were building more than one type of pack for one type of adventure. We needed a brand that could grow with everything we wanted to create.
