SKÖ Limited Lifetime Warranty

SKÖ gear is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.

What Does the SKÖ Limited Lifetime Warranty Cover?

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship — things like seam failure, hardware that breaks under normal use, or waterproofing that fails without cause. If we didn't build it right, we'll make it right.

How Long Does the Warranty Last?

The warranty lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. It is not transferable to a subsequent owner if the product is resold or gifted.

Who Is Covered?

The SKÖ Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the original purchaser of an eligible SKÖ product. Products purchased through an authorized SKÖ retailer also qualify, provided valid proof of purchase can be provided.

What's Not Covered

The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Products purchased secondhand or from unauthorized sellers
  • Cosmetic changes (fading, scratching, staining) that don't affect function

How to Submit a SKÖ Warranty Claim

Think your SKÖ product has a manufacturing defect? Email our team at info@skogear.com and include:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Proof of purchase
  • The product name
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video showing the problem

What Happens After You Submit a Claim?

Our team reviews every claim and will get back to you within 2–3 business days to let you know whether the issue qualifies under the SKÖ Limited Lifetime Warranty. If approved, we'll provide instructions for next steps.

What SKÖ Will Do

If your claim is approved, SKÖ will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, provide store credit, or refund the original purchase price. Available remedies may depend on the nature of the defect, product age, and product availability.

Warranty Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for shipping the product to SKÖ if a physical inspection is required. If the warranty claim is approved, SKÖ will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to the customer within the contiguous United States. Please do not send a product before receiving claim instructions.

Our Promise

SKÖ gear is made to go places ordinary gear can't. We expect it to get dirty, scratched, hauled, packed, soaked, and taken on real adventures. Normal wear is part of using great gear. But if something fails because we didn't build it right, we'll make it right.

Your Legal Rights

This warranty is provided by SKÖ LLC, doing business as SKÖ Gear, 880 West 800 North Mapleton, UT 84664 United States. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

Warranty FAQ

Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?

Do I need proof of purchase to file a claim?

Yes. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, including purchases made through an authorized SKÖ retailer.

Can I transfer my warranty if I sell or gift my SKÖ product?

No. The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
