A waterproof zipper shouldn't feel like the zipper on an ordinary bag. The firmer pull is part of the sealing system designed to help keep water out.
Your Crossbody includes zipper lubricant to help keep the waterproof zipper operating smoothly.
Close it completely.
Pull the zipper fully to the end of its track. A partially closed zipper can compromise the waterproof seal.
Firmer is normal.
The sealing construction creates more resistance than a standard everyday zipper. That firmer feel is expected.

This crossbody is the best! I got it originally for paddle boarding so I could put my keys and wallet in it, but then I found I love using it as my purse when I go grocery shopping and don’t have pockets, I take it when I travel because it’s pick pocket free, in Iceland it was great at the blue lagoon and it just floated around with my phone, in Japan I loved how small it was and I even hooked my water bottle to it so I had water with me, in Taiwan they only use cash so it was nice to keep all the cash and coins easy access, oh and I took it on my cruise and I will never cruise without one now!

I have purchased so many "waterproof" bags for my phone. Most of them don't even fit because of the size of my phone with the case. I purchased this Amphipak crossbody pouch for when I go out on my waverunner or paddle board. I finally found something that is large enough for my phone, car keys and credit cards. Okay, maybe I will throw in lip balm, sunscreen and a protein bar. The best part is that it all fits, and its WATERPROOF!

These crossbody waterproof bags are the best! We loved them so much we bought each of our 8 kids (ages 14-29) one for Christmas! We take them on the boat, hiking, snowboarding,etc. The bags are a good size to fit your phone, keys, anything you don’t want to get wet or lost. I definitely recommend these!
The materials of this crossbody are super high quality. I had a flight attendent ask me how expensive it was because they had to move it in the overhead compartment. I've loved this crossbody for my adventures. Being able to not have to worry about my keys or wallet getting wet gets rid of so much anxiety I had before.
This crossbody is so great for kayaking in Idaho. I had my iphone and car keys inside. You know how things can get pretty wild on the river. When I opened it, now everything is dry and it didn't get in the way of my paddling.

Super high quality water proof bag. I couldn’t believe how strong this was. I tried scratching the material up and swimming down deep and no water would get in. Everything inside was protected. There’s a lot of nice bags out there but this is by far the strongest.
I took this on my river rafting cruise and it worked wonders. We tipped over after slamming into a rock and nothing got wet. Zipper can be a bit tough but my wallet and cell phone were clear of any scratches and water damage. Grateful for my bag!

This is by far my favorite product from this company, although it's close with the waterproof backpack. It's just so convenient and reliably waterproof I feel confident swimming, hiking, canyoneering, etc. If you need a good waterproof bag, but don't need a full on backpack, you want this!

Materials and seams/zippers are all of top quality and have great feel. Water protection is top-notch. I chose the smaller bag and love the thoughtful internal divider and overall size and functionality. This is perfect for my Lake and saltwater activities and allows me to be able to take a surprisingly greater number of items than I expected (max pro I phone, wallet, sunblock, glasses) I also really like the well designed straps and loops – allows me to use as a shoulder bag or belt pack. Overall a home run in a space where few great options exist.

Cool idea for a waterproof satchel. The zipper pocket takes some elbow grease to open it but when it’s fully closed it’s airtight and waterproof so that’s pretty cool. The shoulder straps are a bit big. Overall I am satisfied with the product and will be using it with my fishing gear.

Can I use it for scuba diving?
The Crossbody is waterproof and designed for submersible use, but SKÖ does not currently publish a scuba-diving depth or pressure rating for the bag. It should not be treated as pressure-rated scuba equipment.
Why is the zipper harder to pull than a normal zipper?
Waterproof sealing zippers are naturally firmer than ordinary bag zippers. That resistance is normal. Your Crossbody also includes zipper lubricant to help keep the zipper moving smoothly.
